Acne Treatment in Norwalk

We examine each patient for the different types of Acne lesions, e.g., blackheads, whiteheads, nodules. Based on that an individualized plan is formulated. Factors such as stress, sleep and diet are discussed. We then follow a three step approach depending on severity:

• For milder cases topical treatments such as cleansers and creams.
• For moderate cases oral medications such as antibiotics and others.
• For the most difficult cases we discuss oral isotretinoin (known as Accutane™).

It is important to stick to your prescribed regimen, as improvement typically takes at least 2-3 months.
